Service Access
While we endeavour to ensure that this Website is normally available 24 hours a day, we will not be liable if for any reason this Website is unavailable at any time or for any period. Access to this Website may be suspended temporarily and without notice in the case of system failure, maintenance or repair or for reasons beyond our control.

Data Protection Act
Any information that you give will only be used by, The Funeral Training Academy except where it is necessary to pass this information to third parties for processing your order. Payment online is via a secure site. We do not hold your credit card details for future transactions.

What if I need to Cancel?

FC Courses

Delivery

The Provider reserves the right to change the taught elements of the course from face-to-face in situ to zoom if deemed necessary because of Covid-19. Should this be the case, the Provider will inform the student immediately.

In the event of zoom training, some practical aspects of the course which are best taught in situ, will be offered to the student live face-to-face when restrictions have been lifted.

If the delivery method changes, the Provider will not be liable for any expenses incurred by the student in relation to this change.

Should the Student need to delay the start of the course, the Provider will offer the student a place on another course starting in the same year. This is subject to availability.

Should the Student need to defer part two of the course, the provider will offer the student the corresponding second module of the course starting in the same year. This is subject to availability.

Should the student cancel their booking and does not wish to transfer to another course start date:

  • up to three months before the start of the course the provider will refund the course fee minus £735
  • up to two months before the start of the course the provider will refund 50% of the course fee
  • up to one month before the start of the course the provider will refund £735 of the course fee
  • less than one month before the start of the course the full fee is payable.

Should the Provider need to postpone the start of a course, the student will be offered a transfer to another course start date.  In this instance the student has got the right to a full refund of the course fee, incl. the non-refundable sum of £735

Should the Provider cancel a course, the student will be offered a transfer to another course start date.  In this instance the student has got the right to a full refund of the course fee, incl. the non-refundable sum of £735

Should the Provider postpone or cancel a course the Provider is not liable for any expenses the student has incurred other than the course fee.

Financial:

On signing this booking form, the Student agrees to the course fee and payment.

The course fee amount is as set out in ‘Payment’.

The course fee due date(s) are due as set out in ‘Payment’.

Already included in the course fee is a non-refundable sum of £735

The ‘Full Payment Offer’ requires the Student to transfer the full fee of £1,995 on booking and no later than the date stipulated under the section ‘Payment ‘ in this booking form.

The ‘Instalment Payment Offer’ requires the Student to transfer the non-refundable sum of £735 on booking and no later than the date stipulated under the section ‘Payment’ of this booking form. 

The second instalment is due one month prior to the start of part one of the course.

The third (final) instalment is due one month after part one of the course

The Provider reserves the right to apply a late payment penalty of £50 per late payment.

FD courses

Should the Student need to delay the start of the course, the Provider will offer the student a place on another course starting in the same year. This is subject to availability.

Should the student cancel their booking and does not wish to transfer to another course start date:

  • up to three months before the start of the course the Provider will refund the course fee minus £300 and any course related discount applied
  • up to two months before the start of the course the Provider will refund 50% of the course fee minus any course related discount applied
  • less than two month before the start of the course the full fee is payable.

Should the Provider need to postpone the start of a course, the student will be offered a transfer to another course start date.  In this instance the student has got the right to a full refund of the relevant course fee, incl. the non-refundable sum of £300

Should the Provider postpone or cancel a course the provider is not liable for any expenses the student has incurred other than the course fee.

Each course booked is due in full on booking and no later than the date stipulated under the section ‘Payment ‘ in this booking form.

Any payment in instalment has to be agreed in writing in advance and will stipulated in the agreement.

The Provider reserves the right to apply a late payment penalty of £50 per late payment.

Refunds are processed and paid on the last working day of every month

Deposit 

Please beware once you have paid your deposit for any of our courses. This is Non Refundable.

Annual Conferences –

Due to the low cost of the event – This is Non Refundable.

Membership – 

Our membership for Celebrants is Non Refundable. Guild membership is currently free
